Last night we brought you the announcement of the Dual Shock 3 and now today we bring you a compatibility list for Japan, Europe and USA. Users will be able to enjoy the rumble feature through software update for certain titles that has a * by its name. The Dual Shock 3 will be released in November for Japan and we can expect release date in Spring 08 for USA/Europe. (SCEI) today announced that it would release DUALSHOCK®3 Wireless Controller, a new controller for PLAYSTATION®3 (PS3™) incorporating a rumble feature, in Japan in November as a separately sold accessory. It inherits the basic design and functionality of the popular PlayStation® controller, while keeping the high-precision, high response motion sensitive six-axis sensing system. Introduction to North American and European markets is expected in spring 2008.
The added rumble feature, combined with the highly realistic motion sensitive six-axis sensing system, takes gamers deeper into the world of interactivity, delivering a more intuitive, realistic and immersive game play experience. The new controller will also benefit PS3 content creators, by giving them the ability to further expand their creative imagination. thats pretty fast !!!!i thought it would really slow down or something...but thats pretty fast move from all developers...
maybe the agreement was confirmed a while ago but they didnt say anything till now that way we see it fast then slow version.

i still remenber when sony said it was impossible to include both rumble and tilt at the same time....same old markting stategies...been there , done that.

@MAKAVELI_its true. sony didnt lie. it was impossible to include both rumble and tilt at the same time because Immersion wouldnt let them =)
