According to a recent issue of a Japanese gaming mag, Koei is developing a new game for the Nintendo DS handheld called Garakutale. The game pits you as a boy named Rokko and with your hat Boushi, adventure in a kingdom called Garakutalan. You have to solve puzzles and complete quests as the game goes on. That is all we know at this point, click on the news title for the scans.

1up has posted their review of the new Animal Crossing game for Nintendo DS, Animal Crossing: Wild World. They gave the game a 9.0, and the review is done in a very unique style. They used animation to illustrate the review. It's a bit annoying. Check it out.

Sega also sends along some screens from the Monkey Ball Touch & Roll title for the Nintendo DS. We hope the touch screen is implemented well in this game, for it could be a truly awesome title if they do the touchpad right. Click on the news title for the screens.

GameWatch has posted some high quality pics from Children Of Mana. This game haded to DS is, of course, the next game in the Mana series that started way back on the SNES. The shots are stills from cutscenes apparently.

It seems another one of our major news outlets has taken to writing an article about gaming. This time it is the age old DS versus PSP argument. What does WNBC say? PSP would win every time. We think this is a pretty generious overstatement as both handhelds have their pros and cons, and both are worth owning. We just thought this was interesting enough to share with you, another non-game news source misinforming the public.

IGN got their hands on the new Mario & Luigi game for the DS, Mario & Luigi: Partners In Time. The game ends up with a 9.0, and is just as fun as you would expect a Mario game to be. Then again, we expected nothing less from Nintendo.

1up has posted their preview of Final Fantasy IV advance. This GBA remake of the RPG classic that showed in the US as Final Fantasy II (with horrible english translation). The game was pretty much reverted to its original Japanese form, the one that never made it here. Check out the link for more details.
