Harmonix Sues Konami Over Rock Revolution Update > |

Rock Band developer Harmonix is suing Konami, as you may or may not know. Harmonix is alleging that Konami's Rock Revolution game, which sold poorly by the way, violates a patent for game controllers that simulate musical instruments. Harmonix is seeking to block sales of Rock Revolution, and also seeking a cash compensation. You may think you have heard about this case last year, but actually, last year saw Konami file suit against Harmonix over Rock Band for supposedly infringing upon patents simulating musical instruments. That case has not been settled yet. This sounds like a mess to us.
