	No more rumor, no more speculation. The official date and announcement are finally here. Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 is going to be coming to the PSN and XBLA this Summer. The game is apparently not a re-draw, which is great, and it will feature online head to head play. We told you it was coming, folks. SSF2THD Remix was a litmus test, and it seems like it went over well. There is a trailer at the Marvel website, but it does not show anything new, really. Hopefully we will get more info when it gets closer. *Update: The PlayStation Blog has posted much more information on MvC2. Firstly, there will be a demo exclusive to the PSN. The demo will feature two-player local matches, and six available characters -- Chun, Ryu, Spidey, Iron Man, Strider, and Wolverine. The actual game itself will be based on the Dreamcast version it seems, with upscaled 1080p graphics and a widescreen ratio. There will be two graphic filter options for character sprites, and apparently all 56 characters will be available from the start. >Link

Hell fuckin yeah!!!!!

Kinda confused about the demo deal though, is the demo supposed to hit before the game is released? I can't imagine a XBLA game without a demo.

Oh so it is an early demo, they don't usually release early demos for downloadable games on PSN, do they?

Either way, I can't wait for this game, any hint to when we should expect the real release?

I've only seen a "this summer" announcement to this point.

As far as PSN demo's, there is really no rhyme or reason of how or when they release them. Some are early, some are same day, some are late.

It is online. and I believe the reason PSN is getting the demo early compared to live in because MS does not release XBLA demos ahead of the release.. I could be wrong though

I asked because you are wrong king. Some of these XBL and PSN games are not online capable. I would not be suprised if it wasnt. I hope to god it is, only reason id get another copy of it.

I did mean that all games on XBL & PSN games are online capable. I meant that in the furture all games would have an online asset, because that is the direction the gameing industry is heading!!
