he Mechwarrior franchise was one of the most intricate, involved, mech simulation games ever created. Now, it seems that after seven years of rest, the series may be making a comeback. Piranha Games is rumored to be the developer and EA the publisher of the new game, and a trio of teaser trailers over at IGN seem to point to a definite Mechwarrior game. The original developer, FASA Studios, closed down after Shadowrun was poorly received, and IGN happens to have an interview with Piranha coming up soon as well. Coincidence? Likely not. Rumor mill for now.

Don't know about EA publishing the game as they stated they don't have a publisher yet, but this game is coming and it looks insane.
