GRIN Final Fantasy Game Finds A New Developer >
2009/09/21 17:53:28: Posted by DM
Square is still going forward with the Final Fantasy game that the developer GRIN was working on before they closed their doors last month. The game, codenamed Fortress, was a main reason for the collapse of GRIN, as Square took the project from them after only 6 months due to quality concerns. Because Swedish law prevents business form going into debt without severe penalties, the company had to shut down, citing "unbearable cashflow situation" as the cause. Besides Bionic Commando for Capcom, they also released Wanted and the Terminator movie tie-in game. All of those games were mediocre at best. Let's hope Square revamped the unnamed Final Fantasy game.
