According to Nextgen, the legendary Yuji Naka of Sega, who designed the Sonic series of games, is looking to leave Sega and start his own development stduio. This seems to be the trend lately as a lot of famous in-house devs are starting their own houses.

Does that mean the Sonic game that we saw for the XBOX360 is not going to be made. If not that sucks, we need games like Sonic. R.I.P Sonic.

DM, just so you know, "stduio" isn't a word :P.

I wonder if he will take Sonic with him, or leave it all to Sega, and create a new IP. More than likely, Sonic will stay with Sega, because Sega wouldn't be Sega without Sonic.

this means nothing to me...Sega hasnt come out with a good game in the last like 5 years...and The Sonic series is dead anyway.

they havnt gone back to there clasic roots in a long time
