	Activision US has opened a registration service for gamers who want a replacement Guitar Hero III disc with full Dolby Pro Logic II sound. The Wii version of the game is coded in full, glorious, band new MONO sound, for those who did not know. Well, hordes of angry gamers stormed the Activision forum to protest that a game about music was coded in the lowliest sound format out there. Well, now North Americans who want to replace their discs can register at the site linked below. No such service has been announced yet for the UK. >Link

Sound quality is one of the Wii's weakest points...it always has been.

Ever since the beginning I pointed out that it was strange that the Wii was not capable of true 5.1 sound. After all, the original Xbox was capable of true 5.1 sound AND high-definition graphics in both 720p and 1080i...yet we don't see those things from the Wii.

But, like John Carmack said, the original Xbox was really a half generation ahead of its time...so, maybe that is why it kind of makes the Wii's lack of 5.1 sound stand out so much.

Im guessing you dont know a great deal about hardware.
