	The rumors of PSP 2 have surfaced yet again, this time over at IGN. According to the website, multiple sources claim the PSP 2 is on the horizon, and will feature multi-touch technology. The handheld will feature a widescreen touch interface comparable to that of the iPhone for both games and menu navigation. Of course, this is the only bit of info IGN was provided at this time, but it is the same persistent rumor that has been circulating the web for a while. Rumor mill for now, and, of course, Sony denies everything. >Link

With Sony being in such dire straights, I find it hard to believe that a PSP2 is on the horizon. Honestly, the current PSP is still technologically relevant, it just needs more games. Featurewise, aside from the lack of a second analog stick, it is more than sufficient.

Yeah, I don't see a need for a psp2. I still want to pick up the original PSP but I'm waiting for the 4000 model to see if they fix the interlace problem and hopefully drop the price by then.

i would like to see more PSP/PS3 interaction. i like how i can manage and view pics/vids and play music on my PS3 with the PSP, but more PS3 playable games on the PSP would be nice. right now the only game i can play(as far as i know) is LAIR from the PSP...

Let me guess, its got a touch screen just like all nextgen consoles are going to have motion sensing/pointing ability :.
