	Sony has, once again, made clear that the 10 year life span roadmap for the PS3 is going to be followed. A rumor cropped up this week of Sony looking into an Intel GPU for the next Playstation (PS4), and Sony quickly put it to rest. Sony also made it clear that the PS2 is still going strong after 10 years, and the PS3 will last just as long, especially because it is "future proof," unlike the PS2. Sorry, folks, it looks like only the Wii and 360 will have big brothers come 2012 or so. >Link

What a stupid roadmap...

I am so sick of reading this "10 year life cycle" and people not understand it's meaning. The ps1 had a 10 year life cycle and that didn't stop the ps2 from launching 5 years later.

A company denies rumors of a future product that can impact their current product. Mews at 11!

if they are still making a loss by the time the next consoles come out, they will ditch the ps3, plus they would never admit to having those plans even if they were doing it
