Mark Rein and Jeff Morris talksed to IGN about their upcoming PS3 and PC shooter. Curiosly the Xbox360 was not mentioned, hopefully we will get some info on it this week. They also go on to say that their model of free add-ons will likley not change on the PS3. Sweet!

Epic has released two new images from Gears Of War. They look fantastic, as per usual. As long at the frame rate is acceptable in GoW, the game should be tops. Click on the news title for the images.

There is some new info on Gears Of War in the latest issue of OXM. First of all, there have been some weapon tweaks. There will be one button for weapon reloading, and if players miss the reload opportunity the weapon will be locked for a time. Secondly, Epic has revised all of the animations and even re-motion-captured some of them. Apparently the A button will do many things. When a player is being shot at it will force a roll, and it wil also put the player into cover mode if there is cover nearby. Thirdly, in multiplayer mode there are several modes. One player can activate a light so the other player can attack the enemy. This obviously means there will be mutiplayer co-op. You can even send intructions to your friend's HUD. Next, there will be an immense weapon called the "Hammer Of Dawn" which will literally devestate an entire map. There are also explosive arrows that can be fired different distances by holding the fire button down longer. When a companion dies is MP mode other players can heal them similar to the healing mode in Perfect Dark Zero. In every level there will be hidden graffiti symbols called "Crimson Omens" that players can seek out for achievments. That is it for now but explosive arrows? John Rambo eat your heart out.

Over at gametrailers there is some user submitted cam footage of UT2k7. This is likely from the recent GDC, but we cannot say for sure. It looks great, and looks like it actually runs well too. Check it out. (Thanks, Cyrix)

According to Joystiq, Epic VP Mark Rein was overheard saying that it would be hard to utilize the UE 3.0 without HD resolutions. He went on to say the we would probably not see the Unreal 3.0 engine on the Nintendo Revolution. Could Nintendo's non-HD decision be hurting them already?

I know we said we posted the last of the GDC stuff, but there's just so much. CNN Money has a nice article on Epic Games, what they call "gaming's best least known company." If you think about it, to people besides us hardcore gamers, Epic isnt exactly a household name.
