A new Bethesda newsletter is posted and the main focus of this issue is the audio portion of Oblivion. Mark Lampert who handles many aspects of the audio at Bethesda Softworks talks about the tasks and challenges for sound-effecting (real word?) a game of Oblivion's scope. CVG has posted a Q&A with Bethesda's Pete Hines regarding, what else, Oblivion. Most of the Oblivion info is stuff we know already, but the great news is that Pete Hines confirms that there is a team working steadily on Fallout 3. Apparently they are giving Fallout 3 just as much attention as Oblivion. Good to hear.

The official Elder Scrolls Xbox.com page has some new info posted for readers. New interviews in the community section with Todd Howard, the executive producer of the game reveal some more tidbits about this highly anticipated title. No new media, but that is to be expected. Check it out, click on the community menu option to see the new areas.

CVg has posted a a new Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Q&A. They speak with Producer Gavin Carter with reference to both the PC and Xbox360 versions. They speak about the difference between the versions (there are some), the game world that players will explore, player and enemy combat, user customization, the physics engine of the game, and the forest and other landscapes.

A new video of TES4 has surfaced on the web, and it looks pretty good. While the animations leave a bit to be desired, the game is still looking incredible. The download site is a bit slow so be patient.

The official Bethesda website has been updated with a new newsletter entry featuring info on tha upcoming release of Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. The game will have a regular edition and a collectors edition, for both PC and Xbox360. The regular edition will include the game on DVD for PC , a 48 page manual and a map of the game world. The Collector's Edition will include special packaging, a bonus DVD with a professional Making Of documentary, replica coin of the currency used in the game, and a 112 page pocket guide. All you Elder Scrolls fanatics make sure to reserve yours today.

According to CVG, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion now has a release date, March 24, 2006. This is the date for both the PC and the Xbox360 version of the game, so there will be no difference depending on which platform you use to play. Great news!
