Even though many of us have had to do massive memory space rearranging to accomdate the downloaded WiiWare titles, Nintendo is still not offering a solution. Tom Prata, NOA's senior director of project development, spoke to IGN about WiiWare, and the upcoming 100 games slated for release. When asked about all the SD card copying and VC game deletion users are having to do, he basically repeated the Nintendo party line.

Tom Prata: Consumers have the option of either deleting the game and downloading it again for no additional Wii Points, or transferring the game from Wii to external SD memory card.

In an interview with Gamasutra, FF Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King co-creators Fumiaki Shiraishi and Toshihiro Tsuchida spoke about WiiWare, and their initial game. They speak about download limits, small game innovations, and even the possibility of an Actraiser update.

Well folks, today is the day. Nintendo has officially launched the WiiWare channel on their new console. A few games are available for download as of now, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles is one of them, along with a poker game and a defend your castle type game. Click read more for the full list.

Nintendo's jumped feet first into the console "arcade" environment with their latest endeavor, WiiWare. The service debuted last night (this morning in Japan), and launched with such titles as Star Solder R (impressions after the jump), Dr. Mario, and Pokemon Ranch.
