Sony's newly redesigned PSP unit may already br on sale at a Gamestop or EB Games near you. Available now for 199.99 is the new PSP Entertainment pack which includes Daxter, Family Guy - The Freakin' Sweet Collection and a cold as Ice Silver PSP.

The package, available starting today for $199.99 (MSRP), delivers an all-in-one portable entertainment experience right out of the box, including a new "Ice Silver" colored PSP system; the action-packed "Greatest Hits" game, Daxter; the animated TV comedy, "Family Guy -- The Freakin' Sweet Collection," on UMD(TM) (Universal Media Disc); and a 1GB Memory Stick PRO Duo(TM). The new PSP system -- rolling out globally, as announced by Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. in July -- has a more streamlined form factor and a video-out port, among other enhancements. "PSP sales have soared since we introduced the $169.99 price point in April, and that momentum will only continue with the launch of the newly designed PSP, which has generated strong interest among consumers since we announced it at E3," said Jack Tretton, president and CEO, SCEA.
