	The recently announced delay of Killzone 2 to February 2009 has prompted some to say that the game is experiencing issues. That is not true, the devs say. The delay is apparently a management decision, and has nothing to do with the quality of the game. The release schedule needed to be spread out it seems, with SOCOM and Little Big Planet, as well as Motorstorm, coming this Fall. >Link

Why space out the games when you have no games. F*Ck that. I'm tired of Sony pissing all over PS3 owners. As much as I give you guys crap, that still sucks...

makes sense to me. PS3 has so many great games lined up this year they've gotta be spaced out appropriately.

very true but delaying the game can only help it cause you know what will happen after the Q4 game rush, more months of nothing to play til the next big game. I say spread that shit out, i hate when 4 games i want come out at the same time and i gotta choose 2. I prefer one good game a month than 4 good games one month and five months of nothing.

captkey3s: Or you can look at it like this. If all those games come out at one time, your either not going to have enough time or enough money to play them all at the same time. Therefore when your ready you can move on to the next game or buy the next game because it will already be available.

by that time, ppl won;t care because they wana see updated graphics, Which is why Killzone 2 is delayed so they can keep upgrading the graphics and details and so on...

it already looks better than anything we've seen this generation...and i'm talking actual unadulterated gameplay footage

dudeman: Again, I am goint to politely disagree with you. Nobody can judge this game till it is released. Even if I give you guys the benefit of the doubt and this game does look as good as Sony, SDF, and the devloper is hyping it to be, the gameplay is what made the first Killzone tanks so bad.

I actually hope this game isn't just another sorry fps like Haze and delivers on the hype. If that happens the bar is raised for everyone...

Regardless of what people say about the graphics, SOCOM: Confrontation is going to be a system seller. Killzone 2 devs are doing the right thing.

I mean I played Resistance, Ratchet & Clank, Uncharted, and there is more games that are amazing,

No matter what, developers is always going to hype it, wether its MS or Sony or Nintendo,

I mean looking at ign.com on the review, one said 4.5 and then other one which another one HAZE (UK) got 6.5

This is all depends which gamers has interest,

As a hardcore FPS i must say the game isn't that great because it doesn't focus on violence but that doesnt mean I gota give it bad because it has no blood, so instead you gota be fair to review for gamers, not for yourself !!!

I think haze deserve maybe 7.5.

Even Famitsu gave a higher rating...

Back to the point, again we are going in ign.com and yet two ppl have different reviews.

But i gota tell you so far Sony has been making great games, the only games that probably suck is LAIR but thats due to sixaxis, now that they have the update, they reviewed again ???

BlackTiger: This is a Killzone 2 thread not Haze. So to end this debate and focus ont he subject at hand. A 6.5 is still a bad score. Maybe not as bad as a 4.5 but still sucks. Face it Haze is getting bad reviews from everywhere. Last time I checked Metacritic the highest score it had recieved was a 70 out of 100. Get over it and hope that MGS4 does better. Lets try to keep this discussion focused on Killzone 2.

They think this is a big player game and Sony know that they don't have the install base for this game yet, i think they are delaying killzone because in 2009 there will be enough ps3 consoles out there to make a profit.

Plus the game looks crap, bland boring textures level design is not there also, its certainly living up to the pretty shit killzone original.

I gota agree with Nemesis with one thing if he's referring to AI, but when it comes to tech demo, its always one easy mode... So hopefully by E3 , they can show us how AI works.. Because everything in the game looks a complete package !

i think some sony rep stated somewhere that it was delayed because Sony did not want the game going one on one with gears, it might be overshadowed.

as for the game, IGN had a preview and it looked good, then again, all IGN previews tend to praise games
