Realtime Worlds In Crackdown 2 Discussions With MS >

Even though last week it was reported that Crackdown 2 was likely being worked on by the new Rufian Studios, it seems that vg247 is reporting that Realtime Worlds is in talks with Microsoft about the sequel. It seems Realtime still has the rights to Crackdown, and will be putting the second game in the series on the MS console after all.

"I just wanted to correct the rumours today surrounding Crackdown. Although to date we haven't had an offer from Microsoft for the Crackdown sequel rumoured, we continue to have ongoing discussions with them.

basically, MS came to late to them about Crackdown 2 that they were already balls deep into new projects. so we prolly won't be seeing or hearing about Crackdown 2 til maybe 2010 at the earliest...

That's fine, APB looks awesome as well. Besides, MS can offer additional help if they want crackdown 2 started early.
