	Sony is touting sever video-playing advantages that it sways the PS3 holds over Microsoft's Xbox360. Sony claims these benefits include Blu-ray support and the lack of "double fees." Only yesterday, Microsoft and Netflix announced a 1 million Xbox Live Gold user crossover since the video stream partnership was launched. Despite this, Sony is maintaining that the PS3 offers a better "comprehensive digital entertainment experience," and users have access to the PSN for free and thus do not have to pay twice -- once for net membership and once for the actual movie. Unfortunately, this is not even accurate, as MS offers Xbox Live Silver users the chance to browse the video download store as well, and XBL Silver is free, as you know. The only thing Silver users cannot do is the Netflix streaming, but Netflix costs money to join anyway. Also, Microsoft has admitted that they want the Xbox Live Gold users to get something special, something extra for their money. We think Sony is getting a bit cocky since Blu-Ray won out over HD-DVD, but this time, we have to call them out. >Link

Yeah netflix requires gold, but 1 million gold members signing up in less than 3 months is far from fail.

It's no worse than the fact that you are allowed only one extra download for VOP content you paid to "own" on the PS3.
