	According to Gamespot, a Japanese website is reporting that due to the problems with the mass production of Blu-Ray drives, the Playstation 3 might indeed be delayed until October of this year in Japan. This would mean that the unit would not see launch here in the US in 2006. No definitive word though so do not give up hope just yet. >Link

Does this mean we get to look forward to another year full of pre-rendered game demonstrations?

Doubtful, but this was expected no idea why sony kept delaying for long regarding this stuff and for the record it certainly IS NOT the blu ray drive holding everything up Its the cell processor. If the blu ray drive magically became a problem that'd be an absolute joke, but its easier to blame it on blu ray since people expect it to not be completely ready. Sony just doesn't want to make it seem like they are the main ones at fault.

Why am I not suprised?

Not surprised, but still disappointed. This, along with the news the God of War 2 is going remain on the PS2, has made me take a much more wait and see approach with this thing. I can't remember the last time I heard some good news about the PS3. It's just one letdown after another with them lately.

look for a May 2007 roll out in the US. two years after

the 2005 e3 demo of all the rendered crap which all ps3

followers fell for...save yourself and buy a 360 for some tru gaming experience.
