Apparently, CVG has been told by retail sources that Sony has sent word for themt o prepare for a PS3 and PSP price drop "soon." No exact date was given, nor was the exact amount of the drop. Sony still refuses to comment, but the latest rumor says hat the 80GB bundle will drop $99 to $300 USD. It also seems like Sony is going to launch a new two-game bundle for PS3. The bundle includes Resistance and Motorstorm and the 80GB PS3 console. Not necessarily a price drop, but it sounds like something Sony would do in lieu of a cost reduction.
