The latest post on the Microsoft Developer's Network Blog is a discussion with the Xbox360 launch team about the console's operating system. Contrary to popular belief, the 360 does not run on a modified Windows 2000 OS, but a custom OS built from the ground up. At least, thats what the developers claim. Check it out. (Via X-S)

It has a black screen which gives out codes like E75 etc, instead of the more complex (but equally cryptic to the average user) 0xDEADDEAD (which is a crash forced by the user). Recent Articles
