Valve Announces 64-bit Version Of Source Engine & HL2 >
2005/12/23 10:47:18: Posted by DM
Along with AMD, Valve has unveiled a new 64-bit version of their Source engine along with native 64-bit versions of Half Life 2 and Lost Coast. The games are being offered via Steam, of course, and as long as you have an AMD 64 bit enabled CPU you can enjoy the 64-bit goodness. We are interested to see just how much of an improvement using the games in 64-bit will provide. If any of our readers try it, let us know.

I have a 64 bit processor, and if I don't need Windows XP 64bit edition then I'll try this out after I get HL2 for Christmas.
