Nintendo has officially announced a new Nintendogs game. Nintendogs Dalmation & Friends Edition will go on sale in Europe on the 16th of June, 2006, and will feature six new breeds of dog. Click read more for the full press info.

22 May 2006 – Since the launch of Nintendogs back in October 2005, copies of this title have been flying off the shelves, with over 2.5 million copies sold in Europe and 6 million copies globally. Gamedaily got official word today from Nintendo of America about what exactly was going on at E3 with the Gamecube/Wii controversy. Nintendo confirmed that they did indeed use GameCube housing, but that the internal technology was actually Wii hardware. Mystery solved.

"The Wii hardware we exhibited at E3 2006 was made specifically for the E3 show and is not the final mass-production version. Some of this hardware was cased in Nintendo GameCube housing,"

More Exclusive E3 video goodnees for you today. We have videos of people playing both Wii Sports Tennis and Red Steel from E3. If you have any doubt that the Wiimote indeed works well, check out the Tennis video. You can clearly see it working fine. In Red Steel the controls are a bit more clunky, but they work nonetheless.

According to GS, the UK trade paper MCV is claiming that on Monday, Nintendo of Europe will release the launch details for the DS Lite in Europe. Hopefully this is true, and hopefully our European gaming bretheren do not get raped too badly.

NSider has posted their preview of Super Paper Mario, the game that will probably mark the passing of the Gamecube. The game is a Mario game with RPG elements added. Fans of the Paper Mario series should be right at home.
