Nintendo has officially announced a new Nintendogs game. Nintendogs Dalmation & Friends Edition will go on sale in Europe on the 16th of June, 2006, and will feature six new breeds of dog. Click read more for the full press info.

Gamedaily got official word today from Nintendo of America about what exactly was going on at E3 with the Gamecube/Wii controversy. Nintendo confirmed that they did indeed use GameCube housing, but that the internal technology was actually Wii hardware. Mystery solved.

"The Wii hardware we exhibited at E3 2006 was made specifically for the E3 show and is not the final mass-production version. Some of this hardware was cased in Nintendo GameCube housing,"

According to GS, the UK trade paper MCV is claiming that on Monday, Nintendo of Europe will release the launch details for the DS Lite in Europe. Hopefully this is true, and hopefully our European gaming bretheren do not get raped too badly.
